Radio Jackie | Press Night 'Three Men in a Boat' at the Rose Theatre
What an absolute JOY Three Men in a Boat was at the Rose Theatre
I headed along on behalf of Radio Jackie (with Mumsy as my very willing plus one!) for Al Smith’s riotous new adaptation of Jerome K. Jerome’s classic and I genuinely haven’t laughed that much in a theatre for a long time.An incredibly talented cast tackling what is such a physical, fast-paced and ambitious production and making it look effortless. Special mention has to go to Callum Donald-Bruce and his brilliant puppetry… I was completely invested in Montmorency
A packed house, a standing ovation and VERY deserved bows to finish the night. Honestly, I’m tempted to go again!Huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew, and thank you to the Rose Theatre for having us. Always a pleasure to support such a brilliant local theatre
